Off The Grid and Out of the Country

I will be going on vacation and going completely off the grid from 8/16 through 8/23. Where am I going? I am going to two foreign countries both to the north of where I am. First, it's off to New York, NY. Now a lot of you might not think that it's actually a foreign country and in reality it's not, but since I've lived in Richmond, VA (a small city) all my life, New York, NY is about as foreign as you can get. There are probably more people living in the five boroughs of NY than there are in the Tidewater area of Virginia (I don't have confirmed figures on that, but it's my guess). Then it's off to Halifax, Nova Scotia which is located north of Maine...in Canada...you can't go too much farther north than that and if you continue going north soon you'll be going south. So, I'll be out of the area and in no way, shape or form will I be able to monitor e-mail, this blog, the Geezer Gamer website updates, and Geezer Radio blog.
